1 USD = 33.6800 THBNative multi-currency accounting
Invoice, pay and bank in the currencies your business uses. Choose the exchange rate that fits the transaction. AccountFUN brings it all together in your books.
48 currencies. Full FX control. Included in every plan.
01 / Your rate. Your choice.
Let AccountFUN calculate it from the amounts, use the system reference, or enter your own. Here’s how that choice works when matching a foreign-currency invoice to a bank receipt.
1 USD = 33.7500 THB
THB 33,750.00 ÷ US$1,000.00Enter a positive rate below 1,000,000, with up to 8 decimal places.
The calculated rate matches the two amounts.
Illustrative rates, not live quotes. A difference to the bank receipt is a reconciliation difference, not automatically an FX gain or loss.
Choose a rate option to explore. Calculated rates are available where the matching amounts can determine a rate. Cross-currency bank postings let you review and confirm the rate before posting.
02 / Multi-currency, built in
Transfer from USD to GBP, while your books stay in THB. No temporary clearing account to bridge the currencies. No extra journal just to force an exchange rate.
Select the real bank accounts involved, in the currencies they actually hold.
Review the exchange rate and the amount arriving in the destination currency.
AccountFUN records both legs in your base-currency books, with each account’s currency attached.
The same native currency support extends to foreign-currency invoices, bills, payments and balance-sheet accounts.
03 / Follow the money
The exchange rate can change. The history stays clear. Follow a USD invoice through to settlement in your THB books.
Keep the customer’s original amount. Record its value in your books at the invoice’s posting rate.
1 USD = 33.6800 THBSettle the same invoice at the payment’s rate. The payment links back to the original sale.
1 USD = 33.7500 THBThe difference between the invoice value and settlement value is recorded as realized FX.
Traceable to the invoice, payment & ratesSimplified example: full settlement, no fees or taxes, using illustrative rates. A lower settlement value would produce an FX loss. Unrealized FX on open monetary balances is reflected in reports separately.
No. Use Transfer Money directly between bank accounts in different currencies and confirm the exchange rate. You do not need to create a temporary clearing account just to bridge currencies or make the rate work.
Yes. Document currency and settlement currency are separate settings. Set the invoice’s settlement currency for the customer-facing payment amount, then record the payment and review the applicable exchange rate. Explore settlement currencies.
No. Posting uses daily reference rates, including organization-level overrides. The latest available business-day rate may carry forward over weekends or holidays. If a system rate is unavailable for a pair, enter a suitable custom rate.
Your organization’s base currency is fixed at creation, and each account’s currency is also permanent. Choose them to match your reporting needs and actual accounts. If an account was created in the wrong currency, create a new one for future activity.
Yes. Multi-currency accounting is included in both AccountFUN plans. Compare plans and allowances.
