Plans, allowances and billing
Each organization is one business with its own Free, Standard or Plus plan.
Activate your business
Section titled “Activate your business”- Create your account and verify your email.
- Choose Free and create your organization.
- Enter your first and last name and organization name to activate Free.
- Open Settings → Subscription & Billing to check your plan. If setup is incomplete, update the missing details and select Activate Free.
No credit card required. Joining someone else’s organization by invitation does not use your owned Free allowance.
Public signup currently opens Free only. Standard and Plus are coming soon.

Prices are per organization. Monthly plans are billed each month; annual plans are billed once per year at the full annual amount shown. Standard and Plus prices are shown so you can compare plans, but paid subscriptions and upgrades are not open yet. You can start Free now without a credit card.

GB means decimal gigabytes. Your single current organization logo has its own bounded allowance, even when attachment storage is full. Ordinary records have no commercial count cap; service safety limits still apply. API and MCP access is included for permitted workflows and retains its existing rate and permission limits.
An accountant seat is a separate classification from a role. Choosing it does not change accounting permissions or verify professional accreditation. Pending, unexpired invitations reserve seats. Each person can own one Free organization, including an unfinished Free setup. Memberships in other people’s organizations do not use this allowance. Additional owned organizations need paid plans.
Ownership and your Free organization
Section titled “Ownership and your Free organization”The creator becomes the owner. Ownership is separate from Admin permissions: an owner can have another role, while another member serves as Admin. The owner always uses a business seat. On Free, a separate Admin uses the additional accountant seat.
Go to Settings → Account → Organization ownership to select your Free organization or request an ownership transfer to an active member. The recipient must accept within seven days. Both people confirm their identity, and Free eligibility is checked again on acceptance. Transfer ownership or delete the organization before the owner leaves or deletes their account.
Unfinished Free reservations expire after seven days. Starter accounts and tax settings are created after your Free activation or payment. Free activation requires a verified email, your first and last name, and an organization name.
Share documents on Free
Section titled “Share documents on Free”Free does not send business emails from AccountFUN, including invoices, quotes, statements and manual reminders. Share the document’s public link through your own channels, or use Print / PDF to print or download a copy. Every PDF generated for Free displays Powered by AccountFUN.com at the bottom of each page. This applies to all document types and reports, including PDF downloads from public links. Standard and Plus remove this watermark and enable business email sending.
Understand your email allowance
Section titled “Understand your email allowance”Business email sending is available on Standard and Plus.
Open Settings → Subscription & Billing to see this month’s usage and the exact reset time. The period is a UTC calendar month, independent of your billing date and organization timezone.
One unique external recipient of a business email uses one unit after To, CC and BCC deduplication and suppression. An intentional resend uses new units; a retry of the same logical send retains its original reservation. There is no rollover or automatic overage billing.
Authentication, security and billing notices, invitations, and required internal approval notifications do not use this commercial allowance. Daily email safety limits apply separately; a daily override does not increase monthly capacity. See Business email.
Understand automated connections
Section titled “Understand automated connections”One live provider login counts once even when it contains several bank accounts. Each active remote-file configuration, including HSBC shared spreadsheets and custom remote files, counts once. Standard’s 4 connections and Plus’s 10 connections cover both kinds together. Manual local CSV/file imports use no connection allowance.
Change your plan
Section titled “Change your plan”Paid upgrades will be available when Standard and Plus open.
- Open Settings → Subscription & Billing.
- Review your current tier, usage and allowances.
- Choose a paid offer and review its currency, monthly price and full charge before confirming checkout.
- Use Manage billing for an existing subscription, including cancellation. Review the effective date before confirming a change.
Paid access changes only after payment and subscription confirmation. Saving a card or returning from checkout is not an upgrade by itself. Existing trials follow their agreed terms; new purchases do not automatically start a trial.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”A Free business shares an invoice’s public link with a customer and downloads a PDF marked Powered by AccountFUN.com. When paid upgrades open, the owner can choose Standard to send invoices directly from AccountFUN and generate PDFs without the watermark. Sending one invoice to three distinct external recipients uses 3 of Standard’s 800 recipients for that UTC calendar month.
